Santa Pràxedis is the patron saint of the village of Petra. The village celebrations have started this year on the 4^th of July 2015 and they’ll finish on the 21^st of July. You can check the program here:

Among all activities that our town hall offers we’ll recommend you:

-On Saturday 11^th July at 23:30 the Carnival

-On Sunday 12^th July at 18:30 “xeremiers” gathering. A “xeremia” is the traditional pipe from Mallorca so it could be very interesting if you have never heard them.

-On Friday 17^th July at 17:00 Water games for children: inflatable castles, foam party, etc.

-On Saturday 18^th July from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00.  4.000 kilos of almond shells and waters are thrown over the people (we don’t recommend to go there with children)

-On Monday 20^th July at 10:00 the demon and the “xeremiers”

-On Tuesday 21th July at 10:30 the demon and the “xeremiers”
